Z PESCA provides several services for our customers.  This page lists them with links to where you can get more information.  Our primary services include charter sports fishing, apartment rental, and golf packages.

Charter Boats

ZPESCA maintains a fleet of charter boats.

Scuba

We do not provide scuba directly, but we have an instructor here in Barra, Humberto Baltazar.  He is fully stocked with equipment and a compressor. There is also a shop in Manzanillo. Stop on by the ZPESCA Shop when you get in and we will point you in the right direction.  Better yet, let us know what you want and we will be happy to arrange a dive for you.

Fishing Season

The fishing is excellent year around at Barra de Navidad.

Family Excursions:

There are many scenic spots along the shore and in the many coves where a family can take great pictures. There is a limitless array of fish that abound in the area and pictures of the entire family out on a fishing excursions is great for the folks back home.

Bottom Fishing:

ZPESCA offers its boats to catch the wide variety of bottom fish in the area. There is Snook fishing in the spring and fall.

Fishing License:

Your fishing license is included with the boat rental. The local regulations for the catch per day are as follows: Fish to keep: 1 fish of each type. Dorados, Roosterfish, maximum: 2 of each type. All other types: 5 of the same type with a maximum of 10 fish a day per boat. There is no limitation on the number of catches and releases, provided that the fish is not injured.

Hotels:

There are several nice hotels in Barra de Navidad. They range from the Grand Bay to the humble Hotel La Pacifica. For those of you who would rather do your own cooking, there are a number of charming Bungalows available with full kitchenettes. The facilities in Barra can satisfy nearly all demands.

Restaurants

There are many restaurants in Barra de Navidad. All serve traditional Mexican dishes, while several also have an international menu.  In the center of town is what we call "Restaurant Corner".  On this one corner you will find no less than 8 restaurants, Pizzeria Ivette, Paty's, Taco Barramar, Chela, Restaurant Ambar, Kosso Pizza, Tessa's Malt Shop and Restaurant La Capilla.    If that is "Restaurant Corner", then "Lopez de Lagaspi" is Restaurant Row.  Matter of fact, anywhere you go in Barra you will find a restaurant or snack shop near by.
